The Guard

Portugal, 1937. José is a smuggler who assumes the identity of a deceased fiscal guard in order to gain access to a shipment of PVDE weapons. His objective is to sell them to the Spanish republican faction, which is at war with the Francoists. Surrounded by enemies, José will have to collaborate with Amadeu, a corrupt sergeant, in order to complete the delivery and escape unscathed.
