Sweet Daddy Grace

Marcelino da Graça leaves Brava, Cape Verde, on his way to America. He becomes Bishop Sweet Daddy Grace of the Church he created, and is hugely successful in the black community, where his services were a real celebration and his 'healing power' drew crowds. He always thought of himself as a Portuguese man and made a colossal fortune out of faith, becoming an icon of the conquest of the American dream. On a 1500 mile journey, we will follow in his footsteps, reliving and exposing his history and impact on society.
