Lisbon, 1910. Luísa is a beautiful woman whose sensibility asks for much more than the comfortable and old social way she lives until she finds Carlos, a brave official with a new vision for the feature of Portugal. Their passion is inevitable and forbidden. Henrique, her husband and ally to the King will do anything to stop the coming change.
