Phenomenal Land

Giant vegetables, wind storms, rare and bizarre animals or even UFO sightings, these are some of the inexplicable phenomena that happen at the land of Entroncamento. At its roots, Entroncamento is a land in the middle of Portugal where, at the end of the 19th century, a huge and colossal railway construction was built. Inspired by cinema and sensational stories published in the North American press, these events gained notoriety and popularity from the 40's and 50's. Through each chapter of "Phenomenal Land", we're guided through this authentically historical, surreal and sensorial journey, showing us some of these cases, ranging from ancient to recent. We're presented with a narrative oscillating between fantasy and the veracity of facts that will confuse us. Entroncamento and its inhabitants exist in the realm of possibilities.
